Being 28 ft. Above sea level on a Salt Dome less than ½ mile from the Gulf of Mexico. We have at all. Take walk on the beach, listen to the waterfall in the park, surf fish, bay fish, kayaking, listen to the birds singing in the trees, Duck hunting or take a ride on the beach in your vehicle. There is an open beach from High Island to Port Arthur, with NO homes just open beach. Bring your sun glasses, there is a part of the beach that a lot of people like to go nude in the sun..
After a long day on the beach, come back to the park to a large clean shower and laundry. Most of the sites are concrete with Bar-B-Q and picnic table, 50 and 30 amp service is available. You can clean your catch of the day in the fish cleaning area. We have bird sanctuaries and a small convenience store and Post Office with in walking distance from the Park. Sorry we do not have cable TV but you can get a lot of channels with just a antennae. We offer you Free ice and Free wifi too. We also have a pavilion and fire pit. So come on down and meet Bat and Marie, we would love to have you.
